Lipoprotein (a) - Biomarkers of Cardiovascular Risk

The EFLM Committe on Vascular Risk Biomarkers welcomes you to this survey on the current practice of Lipoprotein (a) measurement in EFLM member countries.

The survey is aimed at clinical laboratories regardless of whether they measure Lp(a) or not. It will approx. require 15-20 minutes of your time. There will be some questions regarding the Lp(a) assay used in your laboratory. It would therefore be helpful if you had the information about your test system to hand when you complete the survey. If you do not currently measure Lp(a), there will be only questions on your future plans.

We expect that the survey will provide valuable information on the current availability of Lp(a) measurements in clinical practice. In particular, it will help to understand the heterogeneity of Lp(a) assays in the field, and reporting practices of laboratories in terms of units and cutoffs. Furthermore, the current status of implementation in diagnostic practice of recommendations by scientific societies (e.g EAS, ESC) will be assessed.

Your willingness to complete this survey is highly appreciated.
