We kindly ask you to participate whether or not your laboratory uses Minimum Retesting Intervals (MRIs).
MRIs are defined as the minimum time before a laboratory test should be repeated, based on the test’s properties and the clinical context. MRIs have emerged as a popular demand management tool to reduce over-utilization of tests to limit unnecessary repeat testing that offers little new information. However, actual adoption of MRIs in practice varies widely and little data exists on how the laboratories in Europe implement MRIs.
This survey seeks to gather information on current MRI practices in clinical laboratories across Europe. It covers general policies, motivators and barriers to MRI adoption, clinical acceptance, enforcement methods, and outcomes. The surveys is conducted by the EFLM C-PRE and C-POST.
It should take approximately 20-30 minutes to complete.
You may provide more than one response per laboratory.
