EFLM C-CKD survey 2026

EFLM survey on the current status of Creatinine, Cystatin C, Glomerular Filtration Rate, and Proteinuria measurements. The survey contains 60 questions, and it would ideally take around 20-30 minutes to answer the questions.

Dear Colleague,

Your participation in the EFLM surveys conducted in 2019 and 2022 regarding the status of creatinine, cystatin C, and glomerular filtration rate measurements was greatly appreciated. More than 600 respondents completed these questionnaires, making the initiatives highly successful.

The findings were of considerable interest and contributed to the publication of nine recommendations aimed at improving the harmonization of kidney function biomarker measurements (Cavalier et al., Clin Chem Lab Med, 2024).

We believe that now, four years later, this is an opportune moment to reassess current practices and evaluate developments in laboratory medicine pertaining to the measurement of kidney function biomarkers.

We kindly invite you to complete the updated questionnaire.

Thank you very much for your continued support and participation.
